Northwest Food and Wine Festival 2009
I was reminded yesterday about the Northwest Food and Wine Festival taking place Nov. 14. I was barrel tasting at Johan Vineyards and they will be a new winery to try this Saturday. The event takes place Memorial Coliseum:
4 – 9 pm preferred guests – an hour more of tasting!
5 – 9 general admission
Pick up a glass and prepare to sample, taste, smell, and swirl! Find those great wine values. Savor some fruit at the chocolate fountain or Oysters and Seafood with a great pinot gris! When the doors of the Grand Tasting open at The Memorial Coliseum guests will receive a commemorative wine glass and be welcomed to a show floor filled with over 500 wonderful wines and more than 60 fine dining and gourmet epicurean offerings. You’ll savor and delight in the flavors of the Northwest. Live music on the festival floor adds to the wonderful atmosphere. You’ll find that next great wine buy and discover new eating establishments that will temp your taste buds and end up on your dining calendar.
Preferred Tickets $95 from 4 – 9pm Limit to 500 guests.
General Admission $75 from 5 – 9pm Limit to 2000 guests
Chef Demonstrations & Other Floor Happenings!
I’m looking forward to Chef Adam with Country Cat Restaurant demonstrating “The Art of Pig Butchery.”
The featured country this year is Germany, and some of the country’s leading winemakers will be giving seminars on their wines and regions.
