Newberg, OR First Friday Art and Vino, 5-9pm
Valerie and I have been art walk fans since she organized them for The Avenues of Art and Design in West Hollywood, CA. The big yearly event was a 40,000 person extravaganza with a fashion show, symphony, women drummers, fireworks, and a history bus. It took her a year to plan it. We both liked the smaller gallery walks every month as we took in Andy Warhols over a glass of vino. Okay THAT’S West Hollywood!
We’ve also been to art walks in Hood River, OR, Goldendale, WA and Montrose, CA, where small towns get to show off their shops in a comfortable and leisurly evening.

Newberg, OR is in the center of the Willamette Valley Wine Country so Art, Wine and shopping go hand in hand. Tonight will be our first visit to the Newberg First Friday, and we’ll have pictures and more soon!
